As an intermediate Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be responsible for providing support and treatment to individuals with substance abuse issues. Qualifications

2 to 5 years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within the substance abuse field.
Continuing education in addiction counseling or related areas.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' substance abuse history and treatment requirements.
Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, setting clear goals and objectives.
Facilitate therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, to address addiction issues.
Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Provide clients with relapse prevention education and coping strategies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients.
Maintain confidential records of clients' therapy and progress.
