The Athletic Program Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of athletic programs within a school, college, or community setting. This role involves strategic planning, personnel management, budgeting, and promotion of programs to encourage participation and foster a competitive yet supportive environment for athletes.

Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing athletics.
Proven ability to recruit, manage, and develop staff.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement athletic programs that align with the institution's objectives and comply with regulatory standards.
Monitor the progress and success of athletic programs and make necessary adjustments.
Recruit, hire, and train coaches and support staff while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Manage the athletic program budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
Coordinate scheduling of games, tournaments, and training sessions.
Promote the athletic program to increase visibility and encourage participation among students and/or community members.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
Liaise with external organizations, sponsors, and media to enhance the profile of the athletic program.
Evaluate coaches and staff performance and provide guidance and support for professional development.
Collect and analyze data to assess the impact and effectiveness of athletic programs.
