Summary of the Role
We are seeking a creative and visionary Film Director with intermediate experience to lead and oversee the production of feature films, documentaries, or commercials. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage the creative process from concept to completion, collaborate effectively with producers, writers, actors, and crew, and ensure the end product aligns with the intended vision and message.

Strong understanding of the technical aspects of filmmaking, including camera work, lighting, and sound design.
Experience working with actors and understanding of the craft of acting.
Knowledge of the film production process and the ability to manage budgets and schedules.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret scripts, developing a vision for the project that is in line with the writer's intent and producer's expectations.
Select key members of the production team, including cast, crew, and other staff, ensuring that everyone fits the vision and style of the project.
Coordinate with the Director of Photography to determine the visual style of the film.
Direct actors to deliver powerful performances that align with the characters' narratives and the film's overall tone.
Manage the set and maintain control over its artistic and technical aspects.
Collaborate with production designers, costume designers, and art directors to create a cohesive look and feel for the film.
Work closely with the editors in post-production to ensure the final cut reflects the intended story and pacing.
Oversee the creation of a soundtrack that complements the film, working with composers and music supervisors.
Communicate the film's vision to investors, distributors, and marketing teams.
Maintain a strong relationship with the producers and report on the progress of the film.
