Summary of the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Swim Instructor to bring expertise and leadership to our aquatic programs. The ideal candidate will have a track record of providing exceptional swim instruction, a deep understanding of water safety, and a passion for teaching people of all ages. The Senior Swim Instructor will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our swim curriculum, mentoring junior instructors, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Valid and current certification in water safety, CPR, and first aid.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive swim lessons and training programs for various skill levels.
Evaluate the progress and performance of students and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure all lessons are conducted in a safe and effective manner, complying with all safety regulations.
Coach and mentor junior swim instructors to improve their teaching techniques and ensure program consistency.
Manage swim meets and other competitive events, ensuring they are well-organized and run smoothly.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students' confidence and skills in the water.
Stay current with the latest swim techniques, certifications, and teaching methods.
Coordinate with facility management on scheduling, equipment, and facility maintenance needs.
