The Chemical Compliance Officer ensures that all chemicals and chemical processes within the organization comply with local, state, federal, and international regulations. They work closely with research and development, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to maintain safety standards, safeguard health, and protect the environment.

Proficient in the use of database and compliance management software.
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze all current and upcoming chemical regulations to ensure compliance.
Audit and evaluate the organization's chemical management procedures and practices.
Collaborate with the R&D and QA departments to develop safe and compliant products.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Prepare and manage documentation for chemical approvals and registrations.
Provide training and support to staff regarding chemical safety and compliance.
Communicate with regulatory bodies and act as the point of contact for inspections and audits.
