Summary of the Role
The Waste Policy Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring waste management policies and programs that support sustainability and environmental protection goals. This senior role requires a deep understanding of waste management practices, regulatory compliance, and public policy development. The successful candidate will play a key role in addressing challenges related to waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery to promote ecological sustainability and public health.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and guidelines.
Experience in policy analysis, development, and implementation.
Proven track record of working with diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities

Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to ensure policies remain relevant and effective.
