Qualifications
A Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or equivalent.

Ability to work with a diverse community and meet the needs of patrons of all ages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee the circulation of library materials, ensuring proper check-in and check-out procedures are followed.
Assist patrons with locating resources and provide reference services as needed.
Develop and implement library programs such as reading groups, workshops, and educational activities.
Maintain an organized and current collection by cataloguing new materials and weeding out outdated or damaged items.
Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other libraries to promote literacy and education.
Manage the library's digital resources and assist patrons with accessing e-books, online databases, and internet services.
Supervise library staff and volunteers, providing training and guidance as necessary.
Conduct inventory and maintain accurate records of library assets.
Prepare budgets and reports for library funding and operations.
Stay informed about new developments in library science and integrate innovative technologies and practices into library services.
