Summary of the Role
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the information technology infrastructures within an organization. This includes managing IT staff, devising strategic plans, and ensuring that the IT infrastructure is aligned with the organization's goals. They are also responsible for the maintenance, development, and implementation of IT systems, ensuring systems are secure, and responding to the organization's IT-related needs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure services or related field.
Proven managerial experience in a complex IT environment.
Experience in implementing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or similar will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.
Plan, direct, and coordinate IT-related activities directly related to the IT infrastructure.
Design and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
Manage and report on the allocation of IT budget.
Coordinate with other department heads to assess departmental needs and ensure the efficient and successful implementation of IT solutions.
Lead IT infrastructure projects to enhance or upgrade existing infrastructure as well as to deploy new infrastructure.
Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
Oversee a team of IT professionals and support staff, providing guidance and leadership.
Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing risk management and data integrity/recovery programs.
Assess and purchase new or upgraded hardware and software systems when necessary.
