Summary of the Role
As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs in an organization. Your expertise will help ensure these programs are competitive, sustainable, and comply with legal requirements. You will analyze benefit costs, evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, and recommend improvements or changes when necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, legislation, and best practices.
Strong understanding of different types of benefit plans (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) and their regulatory requirements.
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification is a plus.
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in project management and leadership.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive benefits analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
Liaise with external vendors and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms for employee benefits.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting benefits plans.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to forecast benefits expenses and assist in budget development.
Educate and advise employees on their benefits options and any changes to the programs.
Investigate new benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Analyze trends and stay updated with market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness of benefits offerings.
Handle benefits-related queries and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor the administration of benefits programs and ensure timely enrollment of eligible employees.
Prepare regular reports on benefits usage, cost analyses, and participation rates.
