Summary of the Role
As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide healthcare for children from birth to young adulthood. You will work with pediatricians to assess and manage children's health needs in various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and private practices. Eligibility to work in the healthcare facility's country or region.
Responsibilities
Perform routine developmental screenings and immunizations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by pediatricians.
Monitor patient progress and response to therapies.
Communicate with children and their families to explain treatments and provide emotional support.
Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
Participate in the development of healthcare plans for children with chronic conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
