As a Crop Sensor Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing sensor technologies used in precision agriculture to optimize crop health and production. You will work closely with agronomists and data scientists to provide cutting-edge solutions for monitoring soil conditions, weather, and plant health to aid in decision-making processes for farming operations.
Required Skills
Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.
Experience with CAD software for designing sensor housing and components.
Understanding of agricultural systems and crop management practices.
Hands-on experience with sensor calibration and environmental testing.
Knowledge of data acquisition systems and data analytics tools.
Ability to handle complex projects and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in sensor development or a related technical field.
Experience with embedded systems design and microcontroller programming.
Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and IoT concepts.
Experience with data analysis and machine learning is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
