Qualifications
Proven experience as a QC Inspector or relevant role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA.
Certification of quality control is a significant plus (e.g., ISO 9000, AS9100).
Proficient in MS Office and database management.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
Facilitate corrective actions and continuous improvements by coordinating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in the development of production processes to ensure quality control requirements are met.
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Train and support other staff on quality control and assurance procedures.
