Summary of the Role
As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community outreach programs, fostering relationships with community members and partner organizations, and raising awareness about our organization's mission and programs. An ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about community engagement and has a proven track record of effective communication and program development. This intermediate role requires an individual with experience in outreach or public relations and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a similar role.

Experience with planning and leading community programs and events.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
Responsibilities
Design and implement community outreach strategies and initiatives to promote the organization's objectives and increase community engagement.
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaborations.
Organize and attend community events, workshops, and meetings to spread awareness and gather community feedback.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure outreach activities align with the organization's mission and goals.
Track and analyze outreach efforts to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as necessary.
Develop and manage outreach materials, such as flyers, newsletters, and social media content, to effectively communicate with the public.
Provide regular reports on outreach activities and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
