Summary of the Role
As a Junior Optometrist, you will provide essential eye care services, including vision tests and health assessments, diagnose eye conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments. Working under the supervision of experienced optometrists, you will develop your skills in patient care and eye health management.

Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.
Valid optometry license in the practicing state (or eligible to obtain licensure).
Completion of a clinical residency in optometry is a plus.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using optometric equipment.
Basic life support certification or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams to identify vision problems and eye diseases.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids or therapeutic products.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Educate patients on proper eye care habits and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Stay current with advancements in optometry and best practices in patient care.
