As a Cornea Specialist, you will be an integral member of our ophthalmology team, focusing on diagnosing and treating corneal diseases. You will work closely with patients requiring corneal transplants, managing various corneal infections, and performing laser eye surgery. Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Completion of residency in ophthalmology.
Fellowship training in corneal and external disease.
Current medical license and certification to practice ophthalmology.
Proven track record with 2-5 years of experience as a Cornea Specialist or related role.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage diseases and conditions of the cornea, sclera, conjunctiva, and eyelids.
Perform corneal transplants and other anterior segment surgeries.
Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Conduct advanced corneal surgeries such as lamellar keratoplasty.
Manage complications associated with corneal surgeries.
Participate in clinical trials and contribute to research in the field of corneal disease.
Educate patients about corneal health and post-surgery care.
