Summary of the Role
As a Train Conductor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of passenger or freight trains. This includes ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, coordinating with other crew members, managing train schedules, and handling any issues that may arise during travel.

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-departure inspections to ensure the train is functioning properly and adhere to safety standards.
Communicate with dispatchers and other train operators to report any delays, hazards, or emergencies.
Manage the safe boarding and disembarking of passengers, when applicable.
Operate train control systems, signals, and switches in coordination with other crew.
Manage and direct the activities of train crew members.
Ensure the train remains on schedule and report any incidents that could lead to delays.
Oversee the cargo loading and unloading process for freight trains.
Uphold the company's standards of service and customer satisfaction.
