As Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will provide legal advice and support to our organization across a range of areas, including contracts, compliance, corporate governance, and litigation. Experience in contract law, corporate law, compliance, or related fields.
Proven track record of successfully handling legal issues.
Responsibilities
Advise management on various legal issues relating to the company's business activities.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company's legal rights are protected.
Support in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in the management of any legal disputes or litigation the company may face.
Liaise with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters as needed.
Stay updated on legislative changes that may impact the company and provide actionable advice.
Assist in corporate governance matters, including board meetings and shareholder resolutions.
Provide training to the company's staff on legal risks and compliance requirements.
