Summary of the Role
As a Nurse Anesthetist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care before, during, and after surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetrical procedures. You will also monitor patients' responses to anesthesia and surgery and provide quality anesthesia care with an emphasis on the patient's safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications
Current registered nurse (RN) license with certification as a nurse anesthetist.
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nurse Anesthetist.
Mastery of pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology as relevant to anesthesia care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Proven ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and advocacy.
Responsibilities
Perform pre-anesthetic screenings, including clinical evaluations and selection of the appropriate anesthesia for surgery and for patients facing emergency situations.
Administer general anesthesia, sedation, and regional anesthetic techniques safely and effectively.
Monitor patients through the perioperative phase and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to provide a comprehensive anesthesia care plan.
Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administering emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
Document anesthesia services rendered and maintain accurate patient records.
Follow strict safety and privacy protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and well-being.
Participate in the development of anesthesia care policies and practices.
Educate patients and families on postoperative care and potential side effects of anesthesia.
