Responsibilities
Supervise and lead an accounting team to manage financial functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end close process.
Prepare and review financial statements and expense overviews.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and lead the external audit process, liaising with external auditors.
Assist with budget preparation and budget review by managing budget reports.
Implement accounting policies and procedures to improve financial processes.
Provide training to new hires and develop staff to maximize performance and retention.
Analyze financial data, prepare reports and make recommendations to management.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.
