Extensive understanding of genetic evaluation and breeding methodologies.
Strong knowledge of dairy or beef cattle nutrition and diet formulation.
Certification in artificial insemination and herd health management is a plus.

Coordinate the training and supervision of farm hands and junior staff.
Ensure that the farm adheres to all relevant regulations concerning animal welfare, biosecurity, and environmental impact.
Analyze production data to make informed decisions about herd management strategies.
Monitor pasture and forage resources to maintain optimal grazing systems.
