Summary of the Role
As a Medical Laboratory Technician with intermediate experience, you are responsible for conducting clinical laboratory tests to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. You will work under the supervision of medical lab technologists and managers, analyzing specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Knowledge of current medical laboratory procedures and testing.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Collect and process biological specimens for analysis.
Perform complex biochemical, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
Ensure quality control by validating test results and adhering to laboratory quality standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate and organized records of tests performed and results obtained.
Follow established safety procedures and comply with health and legal regulations.
Stay current with advancements in the field and introduce new laboratory techniques as appropriate.
