Summary of the Role
As a Developmental Pediatrician, you will specialize in the assessment and treatment of children with developmental, learning, and behavioral challenges. Your work will involve close interaction with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will play a key role in diagnosing developmental disorders and crafting individual treatment plans to support the well-being and development of your pediatric patients.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
Intermediate level of experience (2-5 years) working with children with developmental and behavioral disorders.
Strong diagnostic skills and expertise with developmental assessments and interventions.
Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive developmental evaluations of children to identify developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, including medication management, behavioral therapy, and coordination with other healthcare services.
Provide guidance and support to families, helping them to understand their child's condition and advising on management strategies.
Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational specialists.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in developmental pediatrics and participate in continuing education to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Participate in research activities and contribute to the field of developmental pediatrics through scholarly work.
