Summary of the Role
As a Hyperbaric Medicine Physician, your role involves providing specialized care to patients undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat a variety of conditions, such as decompression illness, carbon monoxide poisoning, and complex wounds. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise in hyperbaric medicine, excellent patient management, and a thorough understanding of hyperbaric technology and treatment protocols.

Board certification in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine preferred or eligible
Intermediate experience in a clinical setting, with direct experience in hyperbaric medicine
Good standing with medical boards and ethical committees
Responsibilities
Oversee the care of patients undergoing hyperbaric treatment, ensuring safety and efficacy of therapy.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
Monitor patients for potential complications during and after hyperbaric therapy.
Participate in patient education about the benefits and risks associated with HBOT.
Supervise hyperbaric chamber operations and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct research and contribute to the field of hyperbaric medicine through publications and presentations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in hyperbaric treatment modalities.
Provide leadership and guidance to hyperbaric technicians and nurses.
