Summary of the Role
The Employment Mediator is a crucial role responsible for facilitating the resolution of workplace disputes between employers and employees. This position requires excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of employment law and labor relations. The senior mediator will typically handle more complex or higher-stakes mediation cases, and may also be involved in shaping mediation policy or training junior mediators.

Responsibilities

Facilitate structured and fair discussions between conflicting parties in the workplace.
Provide neutral guidance and encourage mutual understanding to help employers and employees reach amicable agreements.
Apply knowledge of employment law and regulations to inform mediation strategies.

Maintain detailed records of mediation proceedings and outcomes.
Act as a mentor for junior mediators and contribute to the development of mediation programs.
