Strong background in the principles of railway systems, track design, signaling, and rolling stock.
Experience with project management and leading engineering teams.
Proven record of delivering railway projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Oversee the design and construction of new railway lines and systems, ensuring that they meet safety and performance standards.
Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of existing railway infrastructure to identify areas that require maintenance or upgrades.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and safety inspectors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of train operations.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and incorporate innovative strategies into railway projects.
Manage the coordination and execution of engineering projects, providing expert guidance and direction to junior engineers and technical staff.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning railway construction and operation.
Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
