Summary of the Role
As a Vehicle System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of vehicle system integration processes. Your role will involve ensuring that various vehicle components and systems work seamlessly together, and that the final product meets all performance, quality, and regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, hardware, software, and production, to oversee the integration of complex systems in automotive projects.
Required Skills
Proficiency in tools and software used for system integration, such as MATLAB/Simulink.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control systems.
Experience with software development, particularly in embedded systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in vehicle system integration or a related engineering role.
Proven track record of successful system integration projects within the automotive industry.
Familiarity with vehicle architecture and in-depth knowledge of automotive systems.
Understanding of control systems, sensor integration, and powertrain systems.
Experience in working with CAN, LIN, and other vehicle communication protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
Design vehicle system integration plans and validate project requirements.
Coordinate with various engineering teams to ensure components meet system-level requirements.
Perform system integration testing, and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing phases.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system integration processes.
Review and adhere to industry standards and regulations related to vehicle system integration.
Assist in the creation of system design specifications and interface definitions.
Support the development of integration test plans and oversee the execution of these tests.
Provide engineering support during the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure system compatibility.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system integration techniques.
