Summary of the Role
As a Senior Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory levels across various warehouses. You will ensure that stock is kept at ideal levels to meet demand without overstocking, thus reducing waste and maintaining cost-effectiveness. Your role will involve coordinating with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to forecast needs and plan inventory movement. Your extensive experience will be vital in developing and implementing inventory management systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control or related field.
Proven track record of managing inventory in a complex, multi-warehouse environment.
Experience in utilizing inventory management software and systems.
Familiarity with inventory management techniques and best practices, such as Just-In-Time (JIT) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of inventory control, including the receipt, storage, and timely distribution of goods.
Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast demand and ensure stock availability.
Analyze historical and current inventory data to optimize stock levels and reduce overstock and obsolescence.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to track inventory accuracy and turnover rates.
Lead inventory audits and perform regular cycle counts to maintain high levels of accuracy.
Develop and manage KPIs to assess efficiency and performance of inventory management.
Supervise and train inventory team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align inventory with promotional activities and product launches.
Manage relationships with vendors and distributors to negotiate procurement and return policies.
