Summary of the Role
As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will lead projects and teams in the planning, design, and management of water resources systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of hydrology, hydraulic engineering, and water systems to ensure sustainable water management for various applications, such as irrigation, flood control, and water supply.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a specialty in Water Resources or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering projects.
Proven record of managing projects and leading engineering teams.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM).
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and codes pertaining to water resources.
Experience in preparing technical reports and proposals.
Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive water resource management plans.
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for water supply and flood risk assessment.
Design and oversee the construction of water-related projects, including dams, levees, and drainage systems.
Assist with the acquisition of water rights and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver integrated water resource solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
Prepare proposals, technical reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Keep abreast of advancements in the field and integrate innovative approaches into water resource management practices.
